home safety hazard

Are older houses with 3 doses baseless component installed a safety hazard?
We are looking to buy a house. Due to the age of the home side are 2 containers throughout the house. But there are lots of 3 component containers installed at various locations which are unfounded. To amend section 3 of the receptacle earth would an electrician to ground the entire house, which means that the new wiring throughout the house. Should there buy this house? The seller said they will not re-wire the entire house. The 3 cards can be used, but they just do not match the ground. If you put on 3 Prong back part 2, then you will not be able to use a device 3 Prong unless you use adapters. I guess my question is it safe to use 3 sheets landless or to the 3 records Back to Prong 2? I wonder if we should go ahead with the purchase this house. Any advice would be appreciated. The house was built in the 50s
USA The short answer is, at a time containers should be extended to three vessels branch. Many sensitive devices (eg computers) will not work 100% correct, without the field. And devices with a metal case, it is not justified, can be dangerous. It would be a "shock" you know how to Once this happens. BUT, the house may not be re-wired. If the house was wired with cable non-metallic sheathed (Romex) with a ground, containers can be upgraded NO PROBLEM. If the house was wired in BX (metal covered) and the outer covering of metal has not been destroyed, the containers can be upgraded NO PROBLEM – covering the metal is the soil. But it must be continuous from the metal receptacle box (not plastic) for the distribution panel, and it is better to install a ground wire from the capture of the box. If the house was wired with knob and tube method, there is no way you'll have a real field, and yopu can not legally install three vessels branch. If the wiring is the only thing that keeps you buying the house, do two things: the plan to have completely redone for at least $ 5K or $ 8K up to a big house, or call a licensed electrician and get a professional opinion. You will probably (and should) pay the electrician of the notice. An electrician deemed want to get your future business, so they will not take up the price or you scare. If you are paying for their opinions, and they know in advance you could not buy the place, they have nothing to lose and will give you an honest opinion. Do not listen to friends, family, etc. .. unless they are electricians.
